Silence from anyone connected to Facebook.

We are forced to use 2-Factor Authentication because we use business manager and have an advertising account. After a mobile update suddenly the codes for the 2-FA stopped coming through.

At first, it was just the mobile app, but then the desktop app also forced a new 2-FA code and then messenger as well and then finally business manager.

So over the course of a week, we lost complete access to our business Facebook account.

We get one screen that tells us that a 6 digit code has been sent. That code never arrives (it has been over a week), and then the only other option is to have the code sent as a text message. This text message also never arrives. I know the number is correct, because if I do the password reset I have the option to have the password reset code sent as a text message and that does arrive.

We followed every customer service step, every guide every tutorial, but nothing works.

Half the endpoints of the guides end up with a form that you need to sign in to access, which is obviously infuriating when you are reaching that form because you cannot log in.

There is nothing in the automated support system that remotely addresses a solution, and from researching, this is not an uncommon problem.

The final straw is that there is no way to contact anyone or go any further. For all intents and purposes my personal Facebook account, and far worse our business Facebook account are now unable to be accessed by us.

The scariest thought is that if we are not receiving the codes does that mean that someone else is?

Is this part of a pre-determined takeover by a hacker of our account? If so there isn't even a way for us to report this, as there is no form or submission in any part of the "support" cycle.

User's recommendation: Never turn on 2-FA for a business that doesn't offer some form of direct contact.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

Facebook Pros: Massive platform, Almost unavoidable in modern business.

Facebook Cons: Zero support even for business customers.
