When I tried to open my Facebook account, it said "Login approval needed" because they apparently noticed a login from a browser I don't usually use. It wasn't the first time this happened, so I did the same things I did before.
I followed the steps and got a code sent to my old phone number (which is now being used by my grandmother; also, my old email is inaccessible). I was able to access my account on my laptop last night, but I had to repeat it on my phone. That's why I tried doing the same steps, but it didn't work. Now, I opened my laptop again expecting to be already logged in to Facebook but instead, I see another "Login approval needed".
I understand that it's for my safety, but this feature is a huge inconvenience. I have to call my grandmother for the code every single time and a lot of times, like today, I still can't log in. Can't Facebook recognize the devices or browsers I use? I have so many important conversations in Messenger.
Currently, I have to communicate with my org about the donation drive for the victims of the recent calamity but I couldn't because of this.
Please attend to this ASAP. I have a very limited means of communicating with my org members without Messenger.
