My Facebook book account I've had for 12 years was hacked on 1/11/22. The person who hacked it changed the email, password and phone for my account.

When trying to recover my account, the email goes directly to their email and I can't get back into it. I would really like to get this account back, i have things linked to it like my daughter's kid messenger account. Also all the memories. Is there anyway you can get this fixed and get their email off my account so i can recover it?

The account was under Amanda Hannold. I will attach a pic with my profile picture. It's the one with the brown hat. They set up the two way verification and changed all my information. I had a conversation with the hacker through my daughters kids messenger.

I used my daughters name and messaged myself and they replied. They asked for money and pictures of my daughter and I'd private area. So this has been going on for weeks and just the other day my hacked account sent my new account a friend request. I attached a pic of my hacked account sending my new account a friend request.

They sent a mass scam to get money from all my friends and they are pretending to be me. Shouldn't facebook care about a persons identity this person has taken mine. Facebook can remove post they feel inappropriate, but its ok for someone to *** my account and pretend to be me....I will attach a bunch of proof, my friends all sent screenshots of the hacker messaging them.

Please get back to me, I am just sick over this and just want my account back. The images below show an email of t*******5@***.com that is not my email and that is where all recovery links go.

User's recommendation: don't trust facebook, poor customer service.

Product or Service Mentioned: Facebook Customer Care.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Preferred solution: I want my account of 12 years back, with all my memories and photos. Right now someone I don't know has access to 12 years worth of my family photos. They could be a child molestor or worse. Oh, they also stole my identity.......I want my account back..

Facebook Cons: Criminals are allowed to steal peoples identity with no care.
