Never heard from anyone but after posting this complaint I received an email that allowed me to take back my account and completely remove the hackers information without any problems doing so.

I was hacked a week ago and was able to follow the links and verify my identity to get back into my account where I made a new password (& forgot said password) I was able to remove the phone # that the hackers changed from mine but until my email was confirmed I couldn't remove the email the hacker listed. I needed to reset the new password and not only did Facebook send myself a link the hackers also was sent a link and guess who has control over my account.
I don't know what to do from here I created a new account and my daughter reported my other account hacked I received a message from Facebook to my new account stating that I wasn't hacked. I followed the instructions from the help options which are useless because they still are linking the hacker with any new password reset requestd
User's recommendation: If you're ever hacked once you get your account back deactivate it.
Preferred solution: My account and my memories from it.
