My Ad Account was hacked in February 2020. My business is Biz Rite and I created a flyer to advertise my business.
Since it was the first time I charged my credit card for the first time on FB for $10US. Before I knew it my credit card was maxed out to $1,000 US. I had a terrible issue with the bank because they said to me that since I approved the $10US ad spend, they said I indirectly gave the permission for my card to be hacked. I had a long back and forth with them and in the support email section of FB at the time I messaged you about the issue and over a period of time, I was informed by the bank that FB had reimbursed my card.
During the wait, the bank told me I had to pay back the money and that was a big issue for me because I had a small consultancy business that was barely making any money so that had put me in a very bad position. FB disabled the two ad accounts that were created by the hackers but did not wipe the bill and now expects me to pay the bill created by the hackers and refuses to give me access to delete those accounts. I am currently learning to use the Ads Manager but I cannot add any more ad accounts. I need to practice in the back end to create a FB pixel and so forth and I don't want to do it on my client's website.
The only legitimate Ad account right now out of the three is the Matrix account.
That is for my boss. I really need help to deal with this issue so that I can move on from this incident that occurred from 2020.
Preferred solution: I want FB to delete the two ad accounts created by hackers to my FB account and wipe the balance that the hackers created. I should not have to pay for that. .
